“Angels Explained by Children”
“Some of the angels are in charge of helping heal sick animals and pets. And if they don’t make the animals get better, they help the child get over it.”
–Vicki, 8
Angels work for God and watch over kids when God has to go do something else.
–Mitchell, 7
My guardian angel helps me with math, but he’s not much good for science.
–Henry, 8
My angel is my grandma who died last year. She got a big head start on helping me while she was still down here on earth.”

who is an angel in your life? peace, kathleen

Hmm. My angel in life? Honestly, my daughter is an angel. She’s 13 but is still sweet, affectionate, innocent, throughtful and loving. She makes me feel like an amazing mother (even though I’m just a typical mom). Yup; she’s definitely my angel on earth.
My angel on the Internet is Birdie. (Sometimes, she’s the devil, too.)
I don’t think I have an angel (that I know) in heaven yet, except maybe my father-in-law, who passed away in 1993.
I’d be interested in your answer…
That’s so crazy that little kids have that insight. I love it.
My angel is my husband.
Ohhhhh so sweet! There are so many different angels that come to me in different ways every day. But my constants are always my husband and children!
That’s EASY … my mother is the angel in my life.
I’ve missed taking it up in comments lately!!! My work hours have been around 70 a week. Today I came home and crashed (good nap) so I’m up late.
Nice to hear from you Beany
Eric
Do you have a question for Aunt Mabel???? She’s working at my blog. (smile)
hi forz ~ loved your answer. awesome that you have both of them. i hope your teen girl goes through the teen years alright. that has been a hard phase for me and my girls. they are 16 and 17 1/2 now. birdie is awesome. i am getting a kick out of her notes/visits. i’m glad you did a shout out to her recently and i went and said hi ya. who is an angel in my life you ask .. that’s easy. my best friend is one of the angels who brings joy to my life every day. i treasure the fav people we are given to share our walk through life.
hi tori
~ yes, so agree. i was so touched by that first one especially … for a kid to get that and to write that .. wow. maybe kids sometimes say the dardest things sometimes to help remind us to pay attention to what we take for granted because we already “know” everything. your piano-playing police officer sei is a terrific angel. you guys are my example.
hi amber ~ glad you survived your trip. hope it got way better. awesome that you know who your angels are.
hi speedy eric ~ hi ya. awh, that’s awesome that it’s your mama. yea, i’ve missed taking up the comment batting with you, too. got a kick out of it last night. thanks for the grins you gave me when i saw you morphed me, wendy, and you. i hope you get to work less hours soon speedy. hope you are getting enough rest. and that auntie advice column was funny. the answers were a hoot.
peace, kathleen
I loved Henry’s take on angels – not good in science, priceless. So a sweet post, thanks for sharing these.
I love it! So sweet.
hi TARa ~ hehe, me too. there was a big ole list of these and i just picked a couple of my favorites.
hi dysf mom ~
chow, kathleen
These are adorable! “My grandma got a big head start when she was here” … priceless!
Kids really know how to put things.
I am really enjoying your comments beany baby!
Keep em coming and I will do my best to keep up with you!
Hugga hugga hugga!!!
Wendy bo bendy Wenderilla
hi wendy bendy ~ yea, i loved that, too. there were so many listed here. i just picked a couple that i really liked and wanted to share. sometimes kids say it so well (maybe) because they haven’t experienced enough in life yet to make them more jaded to things. i love that about being around the little primary children. they either love and adore you .. or they totally ignore you. it is very clear. black and white. if you get loving from them, it is so sincere and freely given. loved my moments with a couple of the little ones who ran up to me and hugged me after church on sunday. like manna from heaven. i just ate up that. i really get a kick out of your comments, too. and i have so much fun writing book comments all over your blog, too. thanks for being so fun and sweet, beany
